PA Well Development, LLC (PAW) has permitted the Weaver Well, a high-capacity Class II saltwater disposal well in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Strategically located near Marcellus and Utica production, the Weaver Well addresses the severe shortage of in-state disposal options. With permits secured from both the EPA and Pennsylvania DEP, the project is “shovel-ready” and offers other oil and gas participants and operators a high-demand, high-margin opportunity with immediate expansion potential via a sister well (W2).

Update: Well slated to be fully drilled and tested by the end of April, 2026. Rig to be onsite by the end of February. Battery construction will begin upon the receipt of investment funds.

Key Highlights

  • Permitted & Ready: EPA (2023) and PA DEP (2024) approvals in place.
  • Capacity: ~3,000 barrels/day (Currently Permitted for 2,500 barrels/day).
  • Economics:
    • ~$4.5M annual revenue
    • ~$3.5M annual EBITDA
  • Expansion: W2 sister well doubles throughput with ~$2 MM incremental CAPEX, boosting EBITDA above $7.5MM/Yr
  • Market Need: Severe lack of local disposal options forces operators to truck wastewater >100 miles to Ohio; Weaver offers a closer, lower-cost solution.
  • Location Advantage: Positioned to serve both Pennsylvania and West Virginia operators.
  • Experienced Team: PAW assembled a proven group with a track record of injection well development and permitting.
  • Transaction Flexibility: Open to sale, joint venture, or financing structures; team available to remain post-transaction.

Their team is open to a number of structures and has plans to get drilling and testing underway in short order. To learn more, please contact Wes Adams.
